March 2025

St. Patrick's Day Parade!!

Rain or shine the parade must go on!!

Lots of colour on such a grey day!!

Heavy duty construction through out the city!

Hard work like that takes men of steel!!

The brass band has to shine!

The mexicans get everyone dancing!
Work those colourful dresses!

Now the men take the street and strutt their stuff!!

Elvis takes the stage!

 Spinnin' wheels in the rain!

The caboose hydrofoils as it comes down in sheets!!

Weather not even good enough for ducks!
But as a true Canadian symbol, The Goose defies Mother Nature!

The Dragon can fly in air or water!
Nothing can stop it!!

Magic is everywhere!

The rain let's up so the picture frenzy continues!

Awe, St. Patrick himself giving us his blessing!
After all that rain the parade had a great ending!!

What have I been doing Winter 2025?

Oh, to skate in the middle of winter!

And I got to skate with friends!

Almost run over by the zamboni!

OK, I was safely off the ice!

On the coldest day I had to skate at College Park- hardly any body there and the ice was perfect! Froze my face and loved every minute of it!!

Gotta check out the smart lights!

Reminds me of the time tunnel!

Then I went singing with a group at a seniors home and a singalong event for Valentine's Day!

Gotta dress for the occasion!

The end of that week was poetry read at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre!

What a show off!! HAHA!

Oh, ya! And on the last weekend of February I skated with friends again and got to go to a birthday party for someone who reached the 40th milestone!!

I dont know about other people, but I enjoyed walking in the snow- so beautiful!!

I had a lot of fun this winter!

Hope yas all had a swell time, too!

November 2024

The Ceremony at St. Paul's Bloor Street on Sunday started with a band!

Many people came out to honour our vets!

Wreaths were placed honouring the soldiers who sacrificed their lives.

Guns fired off their salute with sharp cracks piercing the quiet of the cold November skies!

So smartly dressed and so disciplined in their part of the ceremony. Such a beautiful sight with the fall foliage and the historic church in the background!

So solemn was the weather, but the fall colours around were so brilliant against the grey skies!

God rest those fallen and God watch over all families left behind!

On Monday the trees at Queens park were not going to be out done!

Another grey day, but many people came!

Despite the chill in the air most stayed through all the speeches and wreath laying.

Many immaculately dressed standing tall and proud to honour their colleagues

as the band played fervently.

So many in perfectly worn uniforms  proudly marching!

Many even stayed after to take pics of people they knew in service in front of the wreaths

and many talked a while before leaving.

Two beautiful services to honour our military and remember their sacrifice!
