AUTUMN BREEZES
Towers gleaming, colours streaming
Over the trees, through the leaves,
Sounds of crunching under foot,
Crisp crackling, my thoughts took
Flight to dream of another time,
Feelings clenching leave me mime,
Autumn breeze tickling my ears,
Nature's breath forgetting my fears
That left me craving for...
Ah, I want no more!
SLEEP HAS COME
Trees returning to deep sleep,
leaves departing to reveal nature's architecture,
man's facades peeking through the canopy,
structures rivaling each other against anxious skies
to see the stalling of winter's blast,
till all has time to seek shelter of Earth's breast.
